Getting started

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes. Create your program, pick a keyword, set your reward threshold, and write your messages. That's it. Download your QR code, stick it at the counter, and you're live.

Do I need any technical skills?

None. If you can send a text message and use a website on your phone, you can run LoyalText. There's no code, no integrations, no IT person required.

What do I need to get started?

Just a phone number and a business. We handle the loyalty program infrastructure — AU phone number, SMS delivery, member tracking, automation — all of it.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. 14-day free trial with full access. You add a card at signup but you won't be charged until your trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.

For your customers

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. They send one SMS — either by scanning your QR code or texting your keyword directly. Their phone doesn't need any app. It works on every mobile phone.

How do customers check their stamp count?

Every time you add a stamp, they automatically receive an SMS update showing their current count. For example: "Stamp 5 of 8 — 3 more to go!"

What if a customer gets a new phone?

Their account is linked to their mobile number. If they keep the same number on their new phone, their stamp history and rewards stay exactly as they were.

Can customers opt out of messages?

Yes. They can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from messages. This is a legal requirement we handle automatically.

What if a customer doesn't have a smartphone?

If they can receive and send SMS messages, they can join. The QR code requires a smartphone camera, but they can also join by manually texting the keyword — which works on any mobile.

Running your program

Can I run more than one loyalty program?

Yes. The Growth plan supports up to 3 programs and Scale supports unlimited. Useful if you have multiple product lines, locations, or customer types.

Can I change my reward threshold after launch?

Yes. You can update your reward settings at any time. Existing members keep their current stamp count — the new threshold applies from the next visit.

How does win-back automation work?

You choose a number of days of inactivity that triggers a win-back message (e.g. 30 days). If a member hasn't visited in that time, LoyalText automatically sends them a personalised offer. You write the message once — it fires on its own forever.

Can I customise the messages customers receive?

Yes. You write the welcome message, the stamp update, the reward message, and the win-back offer. We provide templates to get you started, but every word is yours to change.

What happens when I run out of SMS?

We'll notify you when you're approaching your monthly limit. You can upgrade your plan at any time. We won't cut off your members mid-campaign without warning.

How much does LoyalText cost?

Plans start from $29/month for the Starter plan. Growth is $49/month and Scale is $99/month. Annual plans available at 10x the monthly rate (2 months free). All prices AUD, GST inclusive, with no lock-in contracts.

Is there a setup fee or any hidden costs?

No setup fees, no hidden costs. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then stops. No cancellation fees.

Can I change plans?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes. Every plan has an annual option at 10x the monthly rate, so you save 2 months. Toggle between Monthly and Annual on the pricing page. All annual prices AUD, GST inclusive, billed upfront.

Privacy & compliance

Is LoyalText compliant with Australian privacy law?

Yes. LoyalText is designed to comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Members opt in by texting your keyword, and can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Where is member data stored?

Customer data is stored on Australian servers. We don't sell or share your member data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Do customers consent to receive messages?

Yes. Texting your keyword constitutes explicit opt-in consent to receive SMS messages from your loyalty program. All messages include opt-out instructions.

Who owns the member data?

You do. Your members, their contact details, and their loyalty history belong to your business. You can export your member list at any time.

Customer-initiated stamping

How does the staff approval flow work?

Customers scan your QR code, tap Request a stamp on their phone, and the request lands on your /dashboard/claims queue. You tap Approve and the stamp fires instantly. No paper card, no "did I already stamp them?" confusion. You stay in control of every stamp.

What is the SMS verification step?

On paid plans we send a 6-digit code to the customer's phone when they tap Request a stamp. They enter it on their page, then the request shows on your staff queue. This proves the request is real before it hits your dashboard. Free-plan tenants skip this step since the Free tier has no outbound SMS.

Can customers fake stamps?

No. Every request goes through your approval before it counts. You see the customer's name, their current stamp count, and how long they've been waiting. One tap to approve or deny. The verification SMS on paid plans adds a second layer.
